The day could not have been any better for Dave and Kelly as they wed in Detroit on a sunny Saturday in November. I love being a Detroit Michigan wedding photographer and photographing weddings in Detroit and this one was very special because of the two people we were working with. This couple LOVES the city of Detroit and wanted to showcase their love for the city on their wedding day. The day started at the Atheneum hotel in Greektown where both bride and groom were getting ready. My team spent a few moments with the couple as they spent time with friends and family. Kelly bought Dave a gorgeous Shinola watch as a wedding gift which was fitting as they are a local Detroit based company. From the hotel we went right to Old St. Mary's in Greektown where they would soon say their I-do's. Their family priest married them and the ceremony was simply lovely. My favorite part was when one of the little bridesmaids (who were super cute by the way) gave a big thumbs up after their kiss. We spent the rest of the day going to a few favorite spots of theirs with the most important being old Tiger Stadium because that's where Dave proposed to Kelly. This wedding had it all. Old Detroit, new Detroit, Old Tigers Stadium, Comerica Park, Fox Theater, Old Detroit Train Station, Detroit rooftops, and finally - are you ready for this - SPARTY! What a fun couple, and what a magical day for this best Michigan wedding photographer, as Sarah and Ryan said their vows and became Mr. and Mrs.  My team and I saw nothing but love between these two! This Michigan engagement and wedding photographer was so happy to work with this special couple. What can I say about Kellie and Kyle??? How about I just adored them and appreciated that they drove all the way from Midland to have an engagement session with me. Kyle and Kellie were laughing and and holding hands the whole time we were together. They were just so wonderful to work with. The chemistry between them is undeniable and I am so excited to photograph their wedding in Saginaw next year. Congrats to two fabulous people! I can't wait to meet all of your friends and family when you say your I do's. 

What a lovely day for two lovely people when I took their engagement photos in Birmingham, Michigan. It was a long road for Angela and Ryan and I've been looking forward to working with them for a long time. Ryan asked Angela to marry him on a hiking trip out west. They are probably one of the most adventurous couples I've had the pleasure of working with. When we met we sat and talked for an hour just about their travels. I am so happy to be working with them and I can't wait for their wedding next year. Congratulations to two fun, loving, warm and fabulous people!!!
