Southeast Michigan and the Detroit area is a welcoming community rich with culture and diversity. There's no wonder why so many people from India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and others from the South Asian community call Michigan home. It's a special and incredible honor for us to be invited to not only witness, but photograph an Indian wedding. All of the love, energy, vibrantly rich colors and joyful family laughter fly high on the wedding day. There simply is nothing like photographing an Indian wedding and we'd love to learn more about your family and your wedding day!
Why work with us?
It all started with one Indian wedding almost fourteen years ago. From there we were referred to another family and then another and then another. We have gained enough experience to consider ourselves specialists in Indian wedding photography in the Detroit and Southeast Michigan area. We have photographed many different types of Indian weddings, from Hindu, Sikh, Bengali, Buddhist to fusion Indian weddings which blend multiple cultures and traditions. One thing we've learned is that no two Indian weddings are alike.
Indian weddings are buzzing with enormous amounts of energy and tradition, both of which must be captured on camera at the same time. We know there are many moving parts to these unique weddings and our skill and experience with Indian weddings allows us to anticipate moments before they occur so they aren't missed. Multiple generations of important family members, many of which may be traveling from India will want special portraits as well and we are not only happy to accommodate these requests.

There's no denying that Indian weddings in Michigan are incredible! The majority of our couples hire us for multiple day celebrations, however we are always open for a single day of service if that is a better fit. Our collections include the most common ceremony traditions, like the Sangeet, Mehndi, Baraat, and wedding ceremony along with the wedding reception. We get to know you and your family first so we can customize your wedding photography coverage to fit your specific needs and traditions. We have packages that fit most budgets, however because Indian weddings are typically multi-day events with longer hours of service, we price our collections with at least two wedding photographers so we can do our very best job for you. We work together with you to establish a reasonable timeline so we keep on track with your budget and are able to get all the wedding photographs you need.
We offer custom collections catered to Indian weddings including coverage for the wedding day (ceremony/reception), Sangeet, Menhdi party, etc. We are available for an hourly rate for other Indian wedding ceremonies happening before and after the main ceremony day as well.
