When I first met Sarah and Eric I knew I wanted to be their Michigan wedding photographer. They sat on my sofa at the studio and just laughed and laughed as they told me stories about their relationship, how they met at school (where they work), their first date at Vinsetta Grill (which btw I love Vinsetta Grill) and all about their wedding plans. Eric held Sarah’s hand and glanced over at her from time to time when she wasn’t looking. It was so sweet and I’m not sure they realized it or not at the time but their energy was alive and inviting. I knew their wedding would be filled with love, fun and laughter and you know what – it was! Sarah and Eric said their vows at the Troy Marriott with their reception following immediately. Sarah and Eric danced the night away (well mostly Sarah because that girl can dance!!!) with their friends and family surrounding them. I have to say that Sarah and Eric’s parents were so lovely and gracious and wonderful to work with. To Sarah and Eric – Mazel!!! Enjoy my favorites from your day.

What an absolute amazing day in Detroit for Jessica and Joe’s Gem Theatre wedding. I just loved both Jessica and Joe and their families and friends. The day was full of laughter, love and good times. It rained a little bit that day, but Jessica didn’t bat an eye. She was still game for going outside and because of that we were able to create some really lovely Detroit wedding photos for her. The Gem is a breathtaking venue and I was so happy to work there. The staff was more than accommodating and helpful to Jessica and Joe and made sure they had everything they needed throughout their event. It’s not often that I comment on venue staff – but this staff went above and beyond. When it started raining a bit during their formal portraits the staff quickly moved some tables to help us find a space inside to photograph the families. It was a big help – so Thank you Gem Staff!!! Grab a cup of coffee and enjoy as you see my favorite images from their day. Be sure to check out Jessica’s wedding converse. The day was absolute divine to take Michigan Indian Wedding photos for Rachit and Madalina. It isn’t often I have the pleasure of photographing a small Indian wedding in Michigan. When I met with Rachit and Madalina they emphasized to me that they wanted their love for one another and the start their lives to be the forefront of the day. That was what was important to them – being together and starting their new life. I felt an immediate connection. Their personalities are infectious and their comfort with one another just makes people want to be around them. Photographing them on their wedding day was nothing short of a pleasure.  The day was absolutely breathtaking and taking wedding photos of this multicultural Michigan Indian wedding couple was an honor.

Jenna and Akeem couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day to have a Lakeland Banquet Center wedding. Their friends and family welcomed my Michigan wedding photography team with open arms and we were able to capture some very special memories for them. Jenna’s wedding day started at her hotel in Clinton Township where her wedding makeup was flawlessly applied by Ms. Tee from Shades of Beauty. Once she was dressed and ready to go we headed to her ceremony/reception site at Lakeland banquet center for the big moment. Akeem couldn’t have had a bigger smile on his face when he first saw Jenna in her gown walking own the aisle. Jenna and Akeem chose to write letters to their parents that they shared during their ceremony to honor them. Not a dry eye was found in the room when these letters were read. They were the most heartfelt, meaningful and touching words. After the ceremony we took a quick break and went to take wedding photos at Wahby park in St. Clair Shores. It was a beautiful evening for two beautiful people as they danced long into the night after we left.

Shannon and James had the most beautiful Michigan wedding day for their best Michigan photographers wedding at MacRay Harbor. Michigan wedding photography doesn’t get any better than this when the weather cooperates and my clients want to do something different. Shannon and James both came to me with one goal in mind – they wanted to have fun and get beautiful images. I had no problem with either, and their friends and family were just so wonderful that they helped make my job so much easier. We started the day with hair and makeup and then headed to our first look location in Detroit. We traveled around the city for a few Detroit wedding pictures before heading to the lovely MacRay harbor for their wedding and reception.
