THE HENRY FORD LOVETT HALL WEDDING

One of our favorite weddings of the year was Jessica and DJ's wedding at Lovett Hall. Jen, one of my lead wedding photographers and I worked together this day and not only did we have fun and capture some amazing imagery, but I think Jessica, DJ and their families liked us a whole bunch too! Jessica and DJ have hearts that are unlike many. They are both creative, friendly, fun and deeply in love with one another. It's easy to see how these two connected.

The day started off like any other beautiful wedding day. They were married at their home church, Our Lady of Victory, in Northville and my favorite part of the day was watching DJ's face light up when he saw Jessica for the first time walking down the aisle towards him. Such a beautiful moment. After the nuptials the couple snuck their cute pooch on church grounds for a couple of pictures that Jen snapped and soon after we were on our way to the Henry Ford where DJ's mom had planned for a couple of model T's to sweep us away through Greenfield Village for their wedding portraits.

Riding in the model T's after Greenfield Village had closed and having the entire place to ourselves for wedding pictures was nothing short of visual poetry. The connection between Jessica and DJ helped us create and capture moments that will live on forever in their wedding photos. Some of our favorite images were taken on that day. The light, the timing, the weather and of course the couple - everything aligned perfectly for Jessica and DJ. Jen and I couldn't be happier with how their wedding pictures at Greenfield Village turned out.

After returning to Lovett Hall for the wedding reception, guests greeted the couple with smiles, hugs, tears and laughter. A lovely meal was served and friends and family danced the night away! Join us in wishing Jessica and DJ a happy, healthy and long life filled with love and light!
